A few months ago, I wrote a piece called ‘Speak to the Mountains’. The inspiration behind the piece was that there are things in this life that God has repurposed for us to walk into (Ephesians 2:10). That being said, just because there are things that God has laid out for us doesn’t mean it’s not going to take work or a fight to obtain. We are in a war with a real enemy who doesn’t want us to fulfill our purpose in God (John 10:10).
I knew the new step I wanted to take after writing ‘Speak to the Mountains’ was a resource to practically help us do just that. My Apostle recently retaught on the scripture and said something gripping me: “The mountains are not meant to be climbed, but removed from our lives”. Therefore, let’s follow the command (Mark 11:22-24) so they can be so!
I would like to present the ‘Speak to the Mountains’ worksheet!

This sheet is made up of 4 main sections:
1)NAME YOUR GOAL: Here you write down the main goal you have been trying to achieve in your life. This could be ‘going back to school’, ‘finishing school with all As’, starting a blog, ‘growing a ministry’. Don’t be afraid to be specific.
2)NAME THE MOUNTAIN: Next, you answer: what are the obstacles (lies, false beliefs, fears, things, people, etc) that have been preventing you from achieving that goal? You have to know the root of what you’re fighting before you can properly take it out.
3)SPEAK THE TRUTH: This next part is key. The power of life and death is in your tongue (Prov 18:21). God has given us his word (the only offensive weapon) to fight against the attacks of the enemy (Eph 6:17). He has given us the power to bind and loose (Matt 16:19). Therefore, in this section, I want you to identify key scriptures and affirmations that you can use to speak against your obstacles. You can get creative with this part. Scriptures are a good starting point but then also feel free to turn it into a prayer or write out a declaration. There is no wrong or right way to do this, but the key is that you MUST speak TRUTH back to your mountains.
4)WALK IT OUT: Faith without works is dead (James 2:14-26). Therefore, for the final step, I want you to identify at least 1 (if more even better) small step that you can take move forward in making progress on your goall. It can be super basic. However, SOME action step must be taken. True faith is something you act on before you even see it (Heb..) Therefore, identify what next things you need to do to move you forward and then go after them! The first step is always the hardest but once you move, you’ll find it so much easier to keep the momentum going.
This worksheet is for you to use and get creative with. List out as many goals/obstacles as you can. Whether only 1 or 2 or 5, whatever you do, just don’t get stuck. Refuse to remain stagnant. God wants us to be productive. He wants us to bear fruit that glorifies him (John 15:8). Therefore, download the worksheet, name the fears, identify the key truths from Gods word, and then SPEAK to the mountains.
As you begin to fill out this sheet, I pray that all hindrances will be removed for your life in Jesus’ Name and that you will faithfully be able to walk into the things God had purposed for you long ago.
